Karen Larkin, a woman of remarkable resilience and unwavering determination, founded the Annie Cooper Hope Foundation to continue the legacy of generosity and support inspired by her mother, Annie Louise Cooper. This foundation was born out of Karen's personal experiences with hardship and loss, as well as her profound desire to offer hope and assistance to those in need.

Karen's journey has been marked by significant challenges and personal triumphs. She experienced the devastating loss of her beloved mother, Annie Louise Cooper, which left her grappling with immense grief and the daunting task of rebuilding her life from scratch. In November 2023, Karen faced yet another formidable challenge when she was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer with liver metastases. This diagnosis was a severe blow, testing her strength and resolve. However, Karen approached her illness with the same determination and faith that had guided her through previous hardships. Through rigorous treatment, unyielding hope, and the support of loved ones, she achieved a miraculous outcome and was declared cancer-free in June 2024. This personal victory not only reinforced Karen's commitment to her cause but also deepened her empathy and understanding of the struggles faced by others dealing with severe health challenges.

The Annie Cooper Hope Foundation, named in honor of Karen's mother, aims to provide financial assistance and emotional support to those in need within the community.
